Delicious bowl of ramen, 4 slices.of farely lean pork, pork broth2 noodles spot on. We sat at the counter, just in time to get a seat, as there was line outside when we left. No English spoken, we didnt get exactly what we thought we ordered, but were quite happy with the results.

上越市の老舗人気らーめん店！ その名は ニューハルピンR 基本旨いです！ 何がって？ それはらーめんです！ オススメは五目らーめん(塩味)か わんたんらーめん(醤油味)です！ メニューのみで他トッピングは一切受けてない様です！ わんたんはがっぽり入っていて食べ応えあります！それも一枚一枚丁寧に仕上げられています！ 醤油味は昔ながらの地元上越市らーめんの豚骨ベース醤油の味で麺はオーモリ製麺ぽい味わいでもちもちシコシコしていて食べ応えありマジ旨い！ 気になるみんなは是非お邪魔してみてほしい！ くどいようだが、オススメは五目らーめんとわんたんらーめんだ！ あとぎようざとぶためし喰ってみてくれ！ 以上！

2025.7 土日祝昼 チョースケ…900円 とある休日の食べ歩きにて、上越市のハルピンへ。1963年に同市内直江津で創業、2025年1月に建物の老朽化を理由に惜しまれつつ閉店。4月に同市内富岡の商業施設PATIO内に移転。 10:45頃の到着で先待ちは20人ほど。移転後も不動の人気っぷりだ。おひとり様なので数組を前にしつつ、スルっとカウンター席にご案内。まさか一巡目で入れるとはツイテルツイテル。 あろうことか前店舗で未食であったらチョースケをオーダー。伝票を渡されセルフで記入、追加オーダーは禁止なので注意が必要だ。 15分ほどで着丼、オリジナルの丼がキマッている。カエシがガツンと攻め入るクラシカルスープ。ときどき 歯にくっつくくらいのかなりの低加水麺はクニュっとした食感がクセになる。 あのシブすぎる佇まいこそなくなってしまったが、芯のしっかりした堅実なラーメンは健在。また改めて訪問したい。
